Our annual tradition returns on Sunday, June 24th after the 9:00am and 10:30am Masses on the lawn! Enjoy a Saint Miriam Seersucker Drink and wear your best attire! Join Saint Miriam as we continue an annual and ‘fun’ tradition where parishioners will be led out of the church and into the front garden for a service called, “Blessing of the Seersucker”! This brief service, with a uniquely Southern take on the “kirking” or blessing of the tartans, celebrated by Monsignor Jim’s former parish in Washington DC has made its way to Saint Miriam for some nine years now! While tartans may represent ancestral links with Britain, Saint Miriam makes seersucker representative its own clan, especially those who struggle through a hot summer! Help us welcome in summer, thank God for all we have, and for good weather and wonderful vacations by joining us on June 24th and enjoy a souther drink on the lawn with us, too! The first 12 folks who enter wearing something seersucker also take home a special gift so arrive early!Join us!

It is about being god stewards, but also about honoring and supporting all that we have at our beautiful parish! This year, we ask that you reflect on being a good Christian steward! We fell short and many did not return their annual pledge cards so we will; be reaching out to you this week! Please take a moment and save us the call by clicking below!

💅🏼 Monsignor Jim has a Painted Fingernail?!

Our pastor has joined the movement to bring awareness to the plight of child abuse with A Polish Man! Monsignor “nailed it” by painting a nail Polished Man Blue until October 2nd, and asking you to start raising awareness and funds by being a Polished Man, too! This means you paint one fingernail and take a stand to protect the world’s most vulnerable; children. You don’t shy away from difficult conversations or turn your back on an uncomfortable issue. You step up as a leader, because violence is never acceptable. You lead by example and use your influence to raise funds and awareness to end violence against children for good.

The challenge to men (and women) to paint one fingernail Polished Man Blue represents the 1 child that dies every 5 minutes as a result of violence. That nail starts a conversation.

  • A conversation that inspires a donation.
  • A donation that allows for prevention and protection.
  • And it ends when no child suffers from violence.
  • Because it shouldn’t hurt to be a child.
  • Nail it to end it.

JOIN OUR PASTOR AND TOGETHER WE CAN END VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN, FOR GOOD.

1 CHILD DIES EVERY 5 MINUTES AS A RESULT OF VIOLENCE. THAT’S 1 TOO MANY. JOIN US, AS A TEAM OR AS AN INDIVIDUAL, AND HELP END VIOLENCE AGAINST CHILDREN.

💒 Stewardship Update!

Each Lent, Saint Miriam uses the season to reflect on God’s goodness and generosity towards us. Then, we look at what we give and how we honor that generosity.
Please, give generously and watch as God comes in unexpected ways! Learn more by Clicking Here!

👔 Blessing of the Seersucker Returns June 24th!

🚗 Need to Travel via Hitch?!

Our pastor has a Master Tow travel car trailer available for sale and the proceeds will help us get through summer! It was only used once and has a retail value of over $1,000! Please see anyone on staff or see the actual car travel trailer by the garage! Asking Best Offer! Help us sell the trailer in house and help Saint Miriam!
