Focus in Brief: Our Weekly Announcements for March 20th 2016

This Week @ Saint Miriam…

⛪️The Living Stations Appear This Coming Saturday!

Please Join the children of our (PREP) Parish Religious Educational Program will be once again presenting “The Living Stations”! This year’s beautiful performance of the Living Stations, a unique way to bring in the Passion and an exceptional means of contemplating Jesus’ love for humanity – that includes narration and performance – will take place at the parish on Saturday, March 19th at 5:00pm and is followed by a wonderful Lenten meal in the Undercroft space! Don ‘t miss it!

🎬Announcements Made a Image Change?!

Join us at the 9:00am and 11:00am Masses each Sunday where we will be trying out a new way to make announcements! Video Announcements are here! [Please note the balance of our five weekly masses will not  feature these videos].  We tried to find a way to add to our list of communications on a weekly basis, plus provide a new way to bring attention to all the wonderful happenings at the parish! These short (less than 2 minute videos) will be shown at the regular announcement time (right after the Prayer after Communion) and then be followed by a blessing and closing hymn! These beautiful production announcement videos are designed to (1) enhance what is going on in parish life, (2) provide a unique and interesting way to ‘hear and see’ the announcements that are most critical, and (3) shorten the announcement time from what was slowly creeping up to an average 5-7 minutes! So, bear with us as we tweak and change these up until we find the right fit for Saint Miriam. This week’s announcements will feature a different actor and are a little briefer to see if they produce a different experience! Please see our pastor for your constructive input, as it helped to make this week’s announcements even better already from our first version! (These videos will also be posted on our varied Social Media platforms so be sure to Like Us on Facebook, Follow Us on Twitter, and link to Instagram today!)
