🕸🕷Join us for a Haunted and Historic Tour! Join Union Cemetery of Whitemarsh at Saint Miriam for a classic All Hallow’s Eve flashlight tour that includes an exciting tour of our century grounds and a walk through the pumpkin patch. Experience the enchanting art and landscape of our cemetery grounds after dark, as an experienced tour guide leads you along winding, dimly-lit pathways and behind the graves of historic figures that include: Harvey Longabaugh, the brother of the Sundance Kid; Thomas May Peirce, founder of Peirce College; the Van Billiard Family who perished on the Titanic; and George Jago, a Civil War soldier as well as many other Civil and Revolutionary War veterans. The nighttime walking tours will focus on the cemetery’s rich history, and of course, some of the liveliest spirits buried within our hallowed grounds, after all, Union Cemetery is on the Haunted Places in Pennsylvania list! Tours will last approximately 30-45 minutes, and will be followed by seasonal refreshments aside blazing fire pits near our pumpkin patch.
