Today we honor…The Twelfth Sunday in Ordinary Time and Father’s Day with Baptism Sunday for Cy, Isla, Nash, & Tristan!
☀️ Thank you! YOU just saved a life today! Thank you to all who gave toward the purchase of the AED (Automated External Defibrillators) for our parish and school. It has been ordered and will be in place by next week within the connecting corridor between the school/admin wing and the parish. Thank you…you may just have saved a life, maybe your own, when every second counts!
👔 Annual Father’s Day 50/50 Tickets Available – Drawing is Sunday! Our annual 50/50 tickets are being sold all week long, so stop in or get them after Mass this week! You might just have a great gift for dad after all! Way to go, Dad!
📖 Pay Attention!! New Missals – New Mass Format – New Music! Our new printed Missals are ready! They include the following Mass changes so follow along!
- 7:30am – Roman Missal format will be used.
- 9:00am – Modified Novus Ordo
- 11:00am – Modified Novus Ordo
- 4:00pm – This Mass will officially END June 26th 2016.
- Thursday Mass – Roman Missal format to be used when Mass resumes in September.
⛺ Summer Camp Begins Soon! The balloon bounce and water slides are ready for the start of Summer Camp on June 27th! And…there is still time to enroll in Camp Zion! Join the fun and have the kids in a safe place! Learn more here!
🚧 A Brand New Railing & Carpet, too! Thank you to Ed Worthington, Worthington Forge, who designed and replaced our old aluminum and rather unattractive railing on the front entry steps with a beautifully designed iron railing to enhance our entry! It is beautiful! The old railing will be recycled at the lower steps toward Bethlehem Pike! We also installed brand new carpet in the Undercroft! Join us and see how we care for you!

🔐 Parish to be Closed June 27-July1st! Please note that on Thursday, June 30th the parish will be closed for HVAC work – there will be no Rosary or any activities for the week in that area of the parish building for your safety.
🍍 Welcome Amanda and Peggy to the Family! We are pleased to welcome Amanda Crossin who will serve as Comptroller at Saint Miriam and will be responsible for supervising the quality of accounting and financial operations and reporting for our parish organization, cemetery, and school system. Amanda was born in Philadelphia and raised in South Jersey. She graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. Amanda enjoys reading, traveling, and cooking. She currently resides in Southampton with her husband Bob, their daughter Maeve, and their dog, Finn! Peggy Gabriele also joins us as our volunteer Librarian for the Laurie Lending Spiritual Library! More to come! Please join us as we welcome both to our team at Saint Miriam!

🐾 Welcome to the Family…St. Francis Joliet! Saint Miriam is proud to be a warm Franciscan Catholic community of faith and also the home of three beautiful statues of St. Francis of Assisi! Now, coming in August, we will be home to the latest creation of Artist Timothy Schmalz who carved the beautiful Jesus at our entry door! Be part of something wonderful! ♰ Cemetery Updates: A Way to Honor with Both Traditional Ground Burial and Cremation, Too! Saint Miriam is proud to announce that progress is being made toward a late summer dedication of the new St. Francis Green Memorial Section F within our cemetery. The land is being leveled and trees are in! (More to come next week after we receive our needed permit from Whitemarsh Township!) This will be a beautiful new section featuring a new bronze St Francis Statue will offer both traditional ground burial options in single, double, and triple depth grave lots, as well as cremation burial options such as urn ground burial and four beautiful granite benches! See anyone on staff today and receive 30% off the projected prices today!
📸 Get Your Camera Ready for a Summer Photo Contest!! A great opportunity to provide amatuer photographers from around the area to communicate and to enrich image-making culture by creatively viewing our rich and varied campus at Saint Miriam. We have assembled a panel of judges, experts in their fields, for the final round and they will discuss the qualities that make a great image before choosing the category winners. Learn More Here! We Changed The Way We Do Our Cafe’!
Now, every time you purchase something wonderful from our Saint Miriam Cafe’ after our Sunday morning Masses, we contribute 100% of that donation to a scholarship fund that allows children without the means to attend our wonderful Zion Preschool at Saint Miriam and Saint Miriam Academy!
